Sarah and Bryan, whose connection began at their workplace in Michigan then proceeded on with a bit of salsa dancing with friends and a sushi first date, continued their special bond after relocating to Washington, DC. Three years later, while at a musical at The Kennedy Center celebrating Sarah’s birthday, Bryan finally proposed, and here we are! While choosing DAR Memorial Continental Hall as their venue, the couple also decided on a New Orleans-themed wedding, in special consideration of Bryan’s Louisiana family. Complete with a brass band, some French-inspired dessert, and a smart, simple color palette donning rosy pinks and regal gold – all of which expertly documented by Bonnie Sen Photography – the couple’s exhilarating celebration marked the beginning of a brand new chapter in their lives!
The party went on well into the night, and soon the newlyweds were whisked off to enjoy a fabulous honeymoon in Rome and the Amalfi Coast! Here at The Dandelion Patch, we would like to give a special shout-out to our vendor team for everyone’s eager cooperation!
