Confessions of a Customer

 Just over two years ago,
Anne MacFarlane of Great Falls visited The Dandelion Patch in Vienna in
search of the perfect invitation for her father's 90th birthday. That
day, Anne knew that she'd found "a great resource" in The Dandelion
Patch for invitations, favors, and gifts, and she's been shopping with
us ever since!
Beyond her father's birthday party, Anne has also planned a number of
bridal showers for her friends' daughters. Last year, Anne hosted a
tea-themed bridal shower, where she tied individual Tea Forte diffusers
in colorful tulle for favors - all to complement her beautiful
invitations.
Anne was fortunate to hold the title of "Mother of the Groom" for her
son's wedding last November, where she was very involved in the planning
and found herself visiting The Dandelion Patch often for inspiration.
"I'm interested in creativity - not the same old same old," says Anne.
With Victoria's expert assistance, Anne selected Odd Balls invitations
for her son's rehearsal dinner and other wedding events. For the
rehearsal dinner favors, Anne ordered custom bag-shaped favor boxes from
BT Elements, filling them with miniature bottles of Amaretto for her
guests at the Italian-themed dinner. The in-house production team at the
Reston store designed coordinating menu cards tied with scarlet and
brown ribbons, emulating the wedding's color palette in every detail.
Most recently, Anne ordered classic and functional wedding keepsake
boxes from Carlson Craft for herself and her new daughter-in-law, as
well as gorgeous custom silk-covered photo albums from Jan Sevadjian
Designs. We can only hope that Anne's creativity and hospitality bring
her into The Dandelion Patch again soon!
