Byers'
Choice Carolers
The holidays are a time for celebrating traditions - decking the halls,
singing carols, and spending time with loved ones. Byers' Choice
Carolers combine these traditions in timeless figurines, all handmade by
Pennsylvania artisans. Their characters represent various historical
time periods, and no two are ever the same. In the spirit of the
holidays, Byers' Choice donates more than 20% of its profits to charity
each year.

BloemBox Bulb Kits
Just like BloemBox's spring seed sets, their winter bulb
kits are packaged in festive handcrafted boxes topped with colorful silk
flowers - each representing the type of flower bulb contained inside.
Between our "Red Lion" Amaryllis, "White Dazzler" Amaryllis, and "Ziva"
Paperwhite, you'll find the perfect flowering gift for your holiday
hostess (or other bloom-loving recipient) all ready to grown in the
included pot. Or, buy a few and keep them on hand for that unexpected
get-together!

Nahui Ollin Handbags
It's not often that you come across a collection of handbags that is
both fashion-forward and environmentally conscious. Nahui Ollin
(pronounced "now-we-oh-lean") utilizes a Mayan paper folding technique
to turn factory-rejected candy wrappers, gum wrappers and soft drink
labels into fashionable and functional handbags. Each bag is made of up
to 4000 wrappers, and can take up to four days to complete. Come see our
selection of bags in both the multicolored tutti frutti design, as well
as black-and-white barcodes!

Confessions of a Customer

As she planned her October 4th wedding to now-husband Larry Murphy, Dodi
Giuliani-Murphy spent time doing what most brides do - she perused
various magazines for wedding ideas. "Your wedding day is the most
important day, however, the months leading up to it can be overwhelming,
no matter how organized you are." She came across an advertisement for
The Dandelion Patch in Washingtonian Magazine, and paid a visit to our
Vienna location to begin her search for the perfect wedding invitation.
Dodi chose a gorgeous hand-beveled Encore Edge invitation in shimmery
gold, ecru, and black. "I loved coming in and working with the sales
team to find the perfect invitation, which expressed my personal style,"
Dodi says. "Every detail is addressed until the final product is
perfect!" To complement her elegant wedding ensemble, Dodi also turned
to The Dandelion Patch for all of her ceremony and reception essentials
- programs, menus, placecards, table numbers, and seating charts.
"It is so true that the invitation sets the tone for the event. With all
of the help from everyone at The Dandelion Patch, my invitation was
reflective of the evening I had planned - elegant and memorable! I thank
you all for the part you played in making our wedding day so special."
