Hand Made & Hand Painted Celebrations
 Coton Colors FallPersonalized Holiday Magic
We can almost imagine the look of delight on her face when she opens the gift and it is one of these personalized platters from Coton Colors Pottery.  Or perhaps, instead of wrapping it, fill it with cookies and let the message be revealed ever so slowly for an after dessert treat. Either way, these platters make memorable times even more special. Come into the store to see them for yourself.
Warm Snuggles for Autumn's Chill
Coton Colors Fall Mmmmm....
There's a chill in the evening air now, and it harkens colder weather to come. Stop in and feel these yummy bathrobes from Pine Cone Hill. They're available for monogramming, but we've noticed customers don't want to take their hands off them. In that case, we certainly offer a monogram service for the ones you buy as gifts.

This cozy robe, a cup of hot cider, and a warm cookie and we guarantee you won't even mind opening that back door to let the dog out when those north winds blow.

Editor's Note: While you are welcome to snuggle the robe in the store, even dream a little, full-out napping is discouraged by the staff.
Holiday Cards with Style
Photo cards to express and impress

Pop in to the Dandelion Patch these days and you'll see plenty of customers enjoying the wide selection of holiday cards we have available. WIlliam Arthur and Cranes are popular choices, and we have a large collection of boxed sets to inspire your sentiment.

The Comforts of Home
Frasier Fir Candle Scents to remember
Autumn brings our social lives indoors for the next season. Block parties and mega picnics are done for the year. Instead we enjoy the comforts of home, and savor that intimate space that we share with our invited guests. What makes the ambience in those occasions? Scientists say there are two key sensory experiences your guests will note: lighting and scent. Our beautiful collection of candles from Thymes easily manages both. Visit our store to see our wide selection, and let them help you set a mood for your home this season.

Note: May we suggest you have a sniff of the Frasier Fir scent? A dear member of our staff thinks it is so effective at evoking that Christmas Tree Smell, she won't have to put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving to get her fix!
Confessions of a Customer
VT Toothbrush
Helen Bath of Oakton primarily visits us in our Vienna store. "I like to drop in for gifts, thank-you items, hostess gifts and birthday presents." she admits.

This busy Mom of three boys, ages 6, 5 and 1, highly praises our in-house printing services. "Erica is terrific at developing little jingles and wording," she offers. Helen's advice for other busy moms? "If you're in a bind and waited too long, having the invitations in stock printed in house are a lifesaver!"

Both Helen and her husband, an orthodontist, are Virginia Tech Hokie alumni, and on a recent visit with her boys, the spied our collection of Virginia Tech toothbrushes. "The boys just had to have them," she says with a laugh. "The Dandelion Patch really does have something for everyone!"
