A self-confessed "paper snob," Norma Shore set out with a very good idea of what she wanted for her daughter Jennifer's wedding stationery. She explored her options at other stores in the area, but failed to find the personalized service and selection she was looking for. Norma and Jennifer arrived at The Dandelion Patch in Vienna with dreams of the perfect Save-the-Date and wedding invitation, and with a little creativity and customization, our Milestone Specialists were able to make those dreams a reality.

For the Save-the-Date, Norma and Jennifer decided on a gorgeous layered b.t.elements announcement in periwinkle and celadon with a delicate hydrangea motif. The wedding invitation was a bit more traditional - a beautiful paneled ecru William Arthur invitation, engraved in charcoal ink with an ecru satin bow. Norma was impressed with the enormous selection of Save-the-Dates and wedding invitations available at The Dandelion Patch, and loved that so many of our offerings can be customized to match the formality and tone of each customer's event. Norma and Jennifer chose to have the wedding invitation envelopes addressed in hand calligraphy by our preferred calligrapher, Jenny Muffler. "I loved her calligraphy . . . she made it very easy," even mixing a special charcoal ink to match the engraving on the invitation.

To complete the wedding stationery trousseau, Norma and Jennifer will soon be ordering custom in-house wedding programs for the ceremony, as well as printed placecards for the reception. Norma calls The Dandelion Patch her "new favorite place," and we look forward to seeing her again soon!
