Confessions of A Customer
Jennifer Morad frequently drives from Manassas to
shop at The Dandelion Patch in Vienna. "It's the best
place to go for stationery. There's such variety, and
with the bigger store, even more vendors and
catalogs to browse."
This busy mom of three is enjoying the expanded
space for gifts. On a recent trip, she purchased a
copy of Christmas at The New Yorker, a gift
of great writing and drawing by literary legends and
laugh-out-loud cartoonists.
Jennifer keeps coming back for the professional and
friendly staff that assist her with her invitations. "By
the time they help you select and prepare the
invitations, you've made a friend and want to invite
them to the party!"
When asked about the distance from her home to our
store in Vienna, Jennifer replied, "Well, with the new
Thursday evening store hours, my husband and I can
make an
evening of it, go to dinner in Vienna and shop at The
Dandelion Patch."
We at The Dandelion Patch think this evening out for
shopping and dining is a great one, and encourage
our patrons to consider Jennifer's approach as you
enter the holiday shopping season -- we'll be here,
every Thursday night, ready to help with something
for everyone on your list!
Editor's Note: We'll be open late on
Monday, November 27 for the Vienna Holiday Stroll.
Mark your calendars to come in and join us that
evening!

| Christmas Card Traditions |
| |
It's a fairly new tradition, as far as Christmas
traditions go. Christmas cards started in London in
1843 and in America in 1846. They were originally
sent by retail stores to customers and friends, but
the movement caught on and individuals and families
got into the spirit of greeting those you care about
during this special time of year. When the Royal
Family got into the act, well, so did everybody else.
Today, over two billion holiday cards are exchanged
in the United States alone, and The Dandelion Patch
is proud to feature this season's best selection from
some of the finest paper companies in the world.
Come into The Dandelion Patch and order your
custom holiday cards or purchase a boxed set for
yourself or as a gift.
We feature the largest selection of holiday stationery
in Northern
Virginia, and we're sure to have something that suits
your style.

artistic interpretations of themselves, as original as
they are. We *know* the discerning Dandelion

fashion pieces designed by stylist Meta E. McKinney.
Dramatic, spirited and ever fashion-forward, Meta
custom handbags are a surprising play of pattern and
texture, much like the people who own them. Fine

the richness of art, life and the people they
represent.
Meta takes great pride in ensuring that all of her
